To discover Johanna Rozenblum's book: https://amzn.to/48dUQar We are all conditioned on different levels. The first is the conditioning of our brain. In childhood, the brain develops strategies that allow the child to adapt to their environment. These mechanisms become automatic. Unfortunately, when a child's environment is toxic or simply dysfunctional, they will integrate defense mechanisms that may be detrimental to them in adulthood, in a different environment. At the family level, conditioning can also be transgenerational, with ways of thinking and acting unconsciously passed down from generation to generation, particularly when traumas have not been processed by our ancestors. Finally, at the societal level, numerous conditioning factors are also at play, with unconscious injunctions that are easily accepted in a highly connected society. Johanna Rozenblum, a clinical psychologist, explains how these conditioning processes take hold, how to identify those that are detrimental to us, and how to integrate new ways of seeing the world and acting within ourselves, in order to live life in accordance with our own needs.
