Making Leather And Suede
Making Leather And Suede Here is an instructional video on bark tanning, a very ancient and primitive method of making traditional leather. I decided to experiment with two of my deer hides and accidentally stumbled upon how suede is made. The suede material can get as soft as buckskin and holds a great color. The grain on leather is a classic, very excited for making a backpack. Much of my information here was provided by braintan.com, a wonderful source of knowledge for tanning.
