This snack shop, located in front of Sungkyunkwan University, sells eight varieties of ramen and jeongol rabokki (spicy stir-fried beef stew). The owner appeared on "Master of Living" as the "Ramen Master." Afterwards, he visited "Delicious Guys," and it's been on my "must-visit" list for a long time. This restaurant uses a 5:1 ratio of their own soup base mixed with the basic Shin Ramyun. The combination of various ingredients and the secret soup creates a distinctly different ramen broth from the one I usually make at home. I tried all eight varieties: seafood-filled ramen, sausage-infused budae ramen, sesame-flavored sesame leaves and cheese sesame ramen, kimchi ramen with a spicy kick thanks to the addition of kimchi, egg ramen with a rich, fluffy egg, refreshing crab ramen with plenty of crab, oyster ramen with a savory, oceanic flavor, and spicy ramen with Cheongyang peppers that tickled all five senses. Each bowl had its own distinct character, and I never tire of it. Even something as simple and popular as ramen can be transformed into a variety of flavors depending on the ingredients and cooking method. It was enough to truly experience the infinite charm of ramen. Ramen was the truth, and it was right.
