The new Pier is currently being built alongside the existing pier and is quite a sight to behold. We got a quick bite to eat in the impressive food court before heading to the fish market to purchase some of today's catch to bring back to our airbnb to make Carlos’ World famous ceviche…and by we I mean Carlos :) We Stopped by Sunset Park just outside of Puerto La Libertad to check out how big the ferris wheel was in person (spoiler alert…it’s huge) the park was closed during daytime hours on the weekdays so we will be back to check that out soon. My Dad’s family has kept pretty strong records dating very quickly back to Scotland but my Mom’s has been more of a mystery.
