Digging And Installing 400' Of Waterline
Digging and installing 400' of waterline. This was a house I dug the frost footing on a couple of months ago. I need to come back and dig some on one of the footings so I stayed to make a day out of it and dig in the waterline. The meter is 410' from the house and it's very rocky soil, it took almost 5 hours just to dig the ditch. We installed a 2" pvc line to the house and an 1.25" for the irrigation system. I bedded the lines with screenings to protect from the rock. The city will come back and hook the lines up to the meters and I'll be back on this property when it's time to put in the yard.
