Silca Unocode Battery

Silca Unocode Memory Battery In this video I will be pulling apart the 20-25 year old Unicode made by Silca, yesterday I went to cut a key and the machine would not communicate with the computer, after doing a hard reset and turning it on and off, it then moved into calibration mode. The x and y information was not present. So I opened up the key machine to have a look top see the type of battery used on the motherboard that holds the calibration settings. The battery I found was soldered to the mother board, so for now I have re-entered the information back into the machine and will see how it goes, if the problem comes back, I will need to find and replace the motherboard battery.
