Why TF2 Maps Are Instantly Recognizable?
Team Fortress 2 has some of the most iconic maps in all of gaming, but why is that? I've played TF2 for a long time, and as I become more interested in map making, game development and map design, the question of what makes Team Fortress 2 stand out so much has really stuck with me. I plan to do several videos breaking down what makes TF2 stand out, however, this is just the beginning with map design. This video does in some ways explain what makes TF2 maps so memorable. I believe, that TF2 has created realistic, lived, digital environments through a number of gameplay and community elements. It's not all gaming design per se, but it is all related.
