Looking closely at a vinegar fly under an electron microscope - Have you ever seen #1

A Fly - Have you ever seen Exploring a common fly under a scanning electron microscope. Why is the video yellow? Well the area of the clean room I am filming this video is also used for photolithography in other words there must not be any blue light in the room because of the photosensitive materials in the room. So the colour of the image is not due to a mistake in the white balance on my part but the real colour of room. Hence why the computer monitor is correctly balanced This episode is part of a series where I look at insects under the microscope. I have the opportunity during my PhD (doctorate) to use a Zeiss scanning electron microscope (SEM). So I thought, why not use it whilst I am here. In future episodes, I'll be looking at other stuff, organic or inorganic such as other insects, cells, bacteria, or blades, electronics, recording devices, K7, CDs, etc... And if you are still reading, then post a comment of stuff you would like to see in future episodes. ;) **I apolagise for my english.
