Diálogo en torno a la poesía de Eduardo Chirinos

The recent publication of the complete works of Peruvian poet Eduardo Chirinos (Lima, 1960 – Missouri, Montana, 2016) allows us to appreciate the value of a creative process that, as a whole, ranks among the most outstanding in Latin American poetry written since the 1980s. Chirinos received important distinctions in his country and in Spain: the Copé Poetry Prize (1985), the Casa de América Prize (2001), and the Generation of '27 Prize (2010). The discussion surrounding his work will feature a presentation by Luis García Montero, director of the Cervantes Institute, and the participation of Jannine Montauban, professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Montana; Manuel Borrás, editor of the Pre-Textos publishing house; Álvaro Salvador, poet and professor emeritus at the University of Granada; and Alonso Ruiz Rosas, cultural attaché of Peru. ▶ Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/InstitutoCerv...
