Jabez Hemilo - Tawag at Tugon (2026)
"Tawag at Tugon" is my musical interpretation of the concept of call and response, embodied through the dialogue between the violin and cello. The first movement presents an aggressive and dark character, expressing tension and conflict. In contrast, the second movement serves as a response, offering a sense of peace and calm. Through this work, I explore the idea that not every provocation or act of aggression must be met with revenge instead, it can be answered with understanding and serenity. I.
