Oolitic Indiana Honors Karl Kinser at Town Hall
Oolitic Indiana Honors Karl Kinser at Town Hall Karl Kinser, the winningest car owner/crew chief in professional motorsports history, has lived in the tiny southern Indiana town of Oolitic for more than 50 years...but it was no surprise to anyone, except Karl, that the town of Oolitic, mixed with his closest friends and family, came out in droves to honor the sprint car legend. The ceremony also honored his son Mark Kinser, who is also from Oolitic...and still lives there. Mark won 203 World of Outlaws races and two championships under Karl. Several other Kinsers were on hand for the special day, including 20-time World of Outlaw champion Steve Kinser, his brother Randy and cousin Kelly Kinser. Other notable attendees included longtime Kinser Racing crew member and mechanic Paul Elrod, Kinser Racing championship chassis builder Denny Mitchell, dirt late model legend John Gill and so many more. A beautiful new sign, in Karl's honor, has been erected at the entrance to Oolitic. Join me, the History Mystery Man, for this one-of-a-kind ceremony for Kinser Racing. Enjoy the show...and thanks for your support! #KarlKinser #SteveKinser #MarkKinser #OoliticIndiana #SprintCars
