Catching Up With Steve Kinser at Knoxville; 11 Car Restoration Underway
Catching Up With Steve Kinser at Knoxville; Original 11 Car Restoration Underway It was the highlight of my 2025 Knoxville Nationals...when I got invited over to Steve Kinser's camper for a one-on-one interview with the King. The conversation gravitated toward his first sprint car on the World of Outlaws tour in 1978, an ole Karl Kinser classic that's being restored as we speak by USAC Sprint Car winner/veteran Jon Stanbrough inside his Brownsburg, Indiana restoration/fab shop. To put it all together, I stopped by Stanbrough's shop on the way home from Knoxville. This one's a keeper! Enjoy...and thanks for your support. #SteveKinser #JonStanbrough #HistoryMysteryMan #SprintCars #Knoxville
