This month's Brookwood Last Post was held the day following remembrance of the D-Day landings. The traditional Individual Remembrance this month recognised Private Joseph Orville Johnston, Royal Montreal Regiment, Royal Canadian Infantry Corps, 1st Canadian Army who died 7th June 1941 85 years ago today aged 40. He is buried here at Brookwood Military Cemetery.
