During FIFA World Cup 2026 series taking place at Los Angeles Stadium, LA Metro teamed up with multiple regional agencies like Culver CityBus, GTrans, Long Beach Transit, OCTA, Big Blue Bus, Montebello Bus Lines, Torrance Transit created a map of Enhanced Service, with shuttle routes going from different places across Southern California. Service is being provided at three multiple lots, with an under 10 minute walk to the stadium entrance. The R2 is one of the most popular shuttle routes among all, in which it provides service between Union Station and Lot R - Intuit Garage. This route mainly takes freeway 110 and Interstate 5, but sadly with lots of traffic along the way.
