What started as a simple surf edit between two friends — Mick and Kevin — turned into something way bigger. Holy Visions became a video about new friends, unbelievable surf, and the kind of magic that only happens when you chase waves to the edge of the world. Shot in the legendary Mentawai Islands at Kandui Resort, this trip pulled together a mix of surfers, locals, and wanderers — from the Kandui island crew and the Jersey boys to the Aussies and local Indo legends who made it all feel like home. It’s part surf film, part home video — a time capsule of shared laughs, Bintang-fueled nights, flawless waves, and life on a remote slice of paradise. Although this was only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the fun we had and waves we scored, it captures just enough of the good times to remember how wild it really was.
