Frisco 1522 Freight Extras
After repairs in April 2001 the 1522 ran from St. Louis to Newburg, MO & return pulling freight. The opening shot is near St. Claire. The other 2 shots are following Galesburg Railroad Days in 1995 as the 1522 heads home with a CB&Q 5 chime whistle. The 1st two shots display why this engine was called "the loudest operating steam locomotive in the world". Crank up the volume and listen to that exhaust!
