(http://www.mvmtwithcailin.com/shop) This Pilates Full Body Mat & Standing Workout is Day 29 of the 30-Day Pilates Journey, “Finding your Center.” In this routine, we’ll transition seamlessly between pilates mat and standing exercises, which will challenge our core center in a new way. Each position (lying on the mat, seated, kneeling, side-lying, standing, etc) requires that we feel our body in space differently, and therefore engages the core in a new and different way to establish support and stability. When we transition from mat exercises to standing exercises, the powerhouse needs to make that transition as well and be able to adjust to the new load on the body.
