Los motivos para convocar a Oddone al Parlamento

The Republican Coalition will summon Economy Minister Gabriel Oddone to Parliament after rejecting the outcome of the Social Dialogue promoted by the government. Yesterday, National Party senators Sergio Botana and Carlos Camy confirmed to El País that they will submit the request to the Senate for a plenary session, which will require the votes of the Broad Front for its approval. If they do not obtain these votes, they will pursue a formal interpellation. The main reasons for the summons are the proposed changes to the Pension Fund Administrators (AFAPs), the new appointment of economist Silvia Rodríguez Collazo to the Autonomous Fiscal Council, and the overall state of the economy.
