In this new leg of our journey through Uruguay, we continue along the Interbalnearia Highway and Route 9 towards the city of Rocha, enjoying the scenery, sharing travel anecdotes, and discovering those hidden gems that often go unnoticed by those who simply drive along the highway. During our trip, we passed through the city of Pan de Azúcar, continued along one of the most important routes in eastern Uruguay, and before reaching Rocha, we decided to take a detour that turned out to be one of the most delightful surprises of the journey. We arrived at Riviera, a small and tranquil beach resort located on the Rocha Stream, very close to the Rocha Lagoon, where nature, silence, and the beauty of the landscape invite you to stop and enjoy the moment without haste.
