Shuki's Samurai Sweep: TigerZord & Samurai Battlewing (Power Rangers Samurai)

Also available at TRU for $16.99. --- Our last of the main three Auxillary Zords is the TigerZord, piloted by Jayden, the Red Ranger. As I said in the Swordfish review, this was in the first wave of Zord Vehicles, despite being the last one obtained in the show, so fans to got to see it a tad early. Being the American version of the Tora Origami, the toy is obviously downsized to the extreme, and leaves much to be desired. Regardless, he holds fairly true to his Japanese counterpart, and isn't too bad of a toy in his own right. Of course, this also means that we can form the Samurai Battlewing, and therefore, the Battlewing Megazord! So let's take a look at that as well, shall we? Overall, the TigerZord ends up losing a lot of weight and ability in his American release, with the upside that his formation is left pretty much unchanged for the most part. He's one of the more interesting releases as a standalone toy, but is still a struggle to recommend alone, even at the $12.99 price. However, if you were following the releases, he's certainly a must have to complete your formations. Providing you got most of these at the cheapest rate possible, the bang for your buck is certainly balanced out pretty nicely between the four releases, and I can easily recommend them to those on a budget.
