Shuki's Samurai Sweep: Samurai ClawZord

Prices may vary depending on store and location. --- Our last visit of Shuki's Samurai Sweep is Antonio's own Megazord, the ClawZord. Instead of the Megazord being formed from multiple components, this guy's unit is composed of one single Zord, the ClawZord. The ClawZord is based on a lobster, fitting the gold color scheme that the Gold Ranger clearly has going on. The gimmick here is that the ClawZord's "Claw BattleZord" mode has four different formations, plus a combination with the Samurai Megazord. This was the most sought after Samurai item in the later waves for me, and I was really looking forward to it. Needless to say, he lives up to my expectations. On with the review! Overall, I can easily recommend the ClawZord. Not only does it retain all of its features, it's compatible with Antonio's other friend, as well as the entire team's main Zords. Even as a standalone toy, it's really fun, and doesn't real cheap at all compared to the other releases. Not to mention, that you can make their mid-season combination simply by having the Samurai Megazord and this guy, meaning you only have to buy two toys to get things going. Yes, the Japanese release is larger, shinier, and all around better. But for those on a budget, or for those that REALLY like the Zord and want a second one, or a cheaper alternative to Daikaioh. Easily recommended, regardless of what you own.
