Perché DOOM: The Dark Ages divide i fan?

"Sign of Evil" Cover by: Matias Lehtoranta:    • Doom E3M4 House of Pain - "Sign of Evil" M...   ( @ShreddingDragon ) I've been playing DOOM: The Dark Ages and... well, we have something to talk about. In this video I tell you what it was like to get my hands on DOOM: The Dark Ages, the new installment in one of the most legendary sagas ever. It's a very different DOOM from DOOM Eternal, and because of that, for better or worse, it has begun to split the fanbase in two. It's a 14-minute journey through swords, shields, demonic creatures, and settings that look like something out of a medieval nightmare. The video alternates between comedic moments (yes, I even make fun of the game a bit...and the community), and more serious reflections on where the DOOM series is going. The truth? DOOM: The Dark Ages surprised me. It is slower, “heavier,” more cinematic. Yet, behind this new face, it remains a solid, stylish video game full of ideas. It may not make you feel as powerful as DOOM Eternal, but it certainly manages to get respect. In the video I talk about the new mechanics, the feel of the game, how it compares to other DOOM titles, and most of all, that weird feeling I had from the beginning, “I like it, but...?” Because yes, there are some things that bother me. DOOM has always been synonymous with freedom, speed and pure adrenaline. This new, more “controlled” approach can either please or turn noses up. And toward the end of the video, I try to focus on why. Spoiler: I liked the game, but the future of the franchise? Hmm. If you're interested in video games, if you love DOOM (or hate it), or if you just want to hear the opinion of a guy who plays too much and still talks about DOOM in 2025--then this video is for you. ‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹ CULTWARE'S INSTAGRAM:   / cultware.yt   YOMU GAMES: https://yomuu.itch.io/ CULTWARE'S LINKTREE: https://linktr.ee/cultware ‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹ D I S C L A I M E R © ALL CREDITS GO TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS.
