In 1947, with the B-47 Stratojet, Boeing created a completely innovative aircraft for the time thanks to the combination of swept wings and nacelle reactors. Thus the B-47 became the mother of the B-52, on the military side, but also of the Boeing 707 on the civil side. After which many airliners adopted the same concepts. The career of the B-47 was not very long compared to the B-52 but many planes flying today carry the Stratojet genes.
