Art Was Meant to Be Experienced, Not Consumed | Creating 'Pearls of Wisdom'

What if art was never meant to be consumed? Lately, I've been thinking about how we experience art in a world of endless scrolling, algorithms, and constant stimulation. We see more images in a day than ever before, yet I wonder if we're spending less time truly looking. In this video, I share some thoughts on attention, creativity, and what it means to make art in a culture that often encourages us to move on before we've had a chance to feel anything at all. Alongside these reflections, I'm also working on a new self-portrait piece titled Pearls of Wisdom, documenting the early stages of the creative process as the artwork begins to take shape. I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Do you think we've forgotten how to experience art slowly?
