Peru (S4:E10): tiefe Täler, hohe Berge - die schlimmsten Abgründe Peru's / Motorradreise

With a new battery for Petra's motorcycle, the ride continued wonderfully smoothly. The closer we got to our first overnight stop at the Tumac hot springs, the higher the mountains became and the deeper the valleys. The narrow road proved a real challenge for Petra. Luckily, we were able to end the day relaxing in the hot springs, where, despite the steep slope, we even managed to find a safe spot for our tent. The next day's ride from Tumac via Llipa to Huaraz was no less challenging. Only this time, there was no asphalt, but rather a bumpy dirt track. This ride, too, will remain in our memories. Shortly before Huaraz, we found ourselves in typical South American traffic chaos – vehicles and potholes everywhere – a Peruvian road rodeo.
