🏕️CAJÓN DEL ACHIBUENO: La IMPRESIONANTE BELLEZA del Parque Cordillera los Quemados

In less than a year, we returned to this place that we fell in love with 🏔️. This time, we did it in December and we convinced ourselves that it is the ideal time to visit the park, because the weather is perfect, there is still snow in the mountain range, the estuary and river flow with a good flow, and there are no horseflies! To get to this place you must go to Monte Oscuro, which is 60 kilometers east of Linares on route L-45, the journey takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and keep in mind that the last kilometers are in quite bad condition ( although any type of vehicle can arrive)🚗 From Santiago to Monte Oscuro, it is about 5 hours by car (370 kilometers) As you can see, it is not that far from Santiago, so if you arrive early in the morning or at noon, it is totally possible to go directly to the Pueblo los Quemados campsite without having to spend a night outside the park. We stayed in a cabin before going up because we arrived very late (almost midnight), because that day we left our jobs and traveled directly.
