Bonus Laps: The Forest is Melting All Around Us!

Just two bonus laps of Khyber! This was a continuation of the previous video that was filmed on the same day. There was too much footage to put it all in one big video, so I decided to remove these two laps and have them stand alone in their own vlog. I meet up with my buddy Eric and we shred two decent laps of Khyber Pass, and get this- the sun came out! The whole previous part of this day had been overcast, so it was sick to soak up some rays! As per quite a few times this season, Khyber Pass was fantastic at the top, but as we descended further down in elevation, the snow quality became heavier and stickier. The final lap degrades into some pretty shmoo riding, and I ended up fast forwarding a bunch of it because it doesn't really show off good snowboarding. Anyways, it was still a super sick day, and Khyber Pass is my all time favourite place to be. Nothing like chilling in a forest on a snowboard! The first lap was still totally worth it, and even though it was a long day with a tonne of riding, I feel like I held my own. I'm also still riding the Korua Shapes Pencil. It did really well in these heavier conditions, but I probably shouldn't have brought out a new demo board in the low tide conditions of the lower mountain. Oh well, no harm no foul. This board is super whippy, and works as a great do- everything, all rounder, big mountain board. Great for carving, powder and trees! Thanks so much for watching. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
