Jasper’s Kitchen: Sicilian Steak Modiga🥩

A splash of white wine, tender steak, and a blanket of melted mozzarella... This dish is a true Italian dream!🥩 Chef Jasper’s Sicilian Steak Modiga 4 Tablespoons. Olive Oil 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs 2   6-oz. filet mignon (each cut in half) 4 T. butter 2 cups mushrooms, sliced  1/2 cup white wine. Salt and pepper to taste Sliced mozzarella Preheat the oven to 400° F. Rub steaks with oil, dredge in breadcrumbs, set aside for 5 minutes. Heat 2 T butter in skillet over medium/high Place medallions in skillet and cook until well browned, about 3 minutes. Flip medallions and brown reverse side for about 3 more minutes.  In a separate, sauté pan, add more butter and sauté mushrooms with salt and pepper. Add to the pan with steaks. Leave medallions in pan, place in oven and roast until meat registers 120° to 125°(for medium rare), 3 minutes perhaps. Add cheese to filet medallions.
