This is a video which introduces the idea of composing using chords. It is especially suitable for beginner composers. You will need to be able to read music and understand where notes are on the piano. I’m going to show you how to: work out all the chords in the key of G major how to create an idiomatic chord sequence which can be played on piano how to manipulate the chord sequence into something a lot more interesting suggest next steps for you to try.
