A Demonstration of the Circle of Fifths on the Piano - Step By Step
Do you want to see the Circle of Fifths at work on the piano? What logic to we use to move from one key to the next? How do we get right around the circle and back to the beginning? I will show you in this video! With just 3 rules which are used consistently from the key of C major all the way around the circle and back to the key of C major, you can magically see how a piece of music can be transposed (which is what you hear in the video), to move from C major to G major to D major to A major to E major to B major to F# major, switch enharmonically to G flat major and then continue on its journey through D flat major, A flat major, E flat major, B flat major, F major and right back to C major to start all over again. I explain everything step by step in a way which can be easily understood.
