The Cheat Deceiver
My favorite Deceiver variant when I want to go small and eliminate fouling. I tie these from 5cm to about 13-14cm and always use a short shank hook for them. It has great shape, awesome movement, very foul proof because of the tight nayat taper up front and is very quick to tie. I use the same pattern for perch, zander, pike and for example Tuna. It's very versatile especially when you tone down the amount of flash when going for more spooky SW species. Hook: 1/0 short shank Thread: 8/0 Veevus Tail: BT, flash and ostrich Body: bt Front part: Big Streamers nayat mixed with some flash. Head: 6mm eyes and UV for that bullet shape head to make it swim immediately
