Architectural Features and Capacity: Built on a total area of ​​20,300 square meters, the mosque's main prayer hall is 1,616 square meters in size and can accommodate approximately 2,100 worshippers at a time. The mosque is notable for its exterior clad in pure white marble, its two magnificent minarets, and its three large gold-colored domes. Interior Details: The interior architecture blends traditional Omani style with modern aesthetics. White Italian Carrara marble and rich wood carvings create an aesthetic contrast. Throughout the structure, there are 3,000 square meters of hand-crafted stone carvings featuring Islamic geometric patterns, arabesque motifs, and calligraphy. Channels: One of the most eye-catching elements in the mosque's interior is its crystal chandeliers. The main prayer hall features a massive 11-meter-high chandelier adorned with 24-karat gold plating and Swarovski crystals, while the women's section boasts an equally elegant 4.5-meter-high chandelier. Cultural and Educational Spaces: Beyond being a place of worship, the mosque houses a large two-story library. Its library contains a vast collection of over 12,000 volumes on Islamic literature, Omani history, and linguistics, as well as educational classrooms.
