KOMPASTV - President Prabowo Subianto reiterated his commitment to eradicating corruption at its roots. In his speech before the House of Representatives (DPR) Plenary Session in May 2026, Prabowo emphasized that no official should feel safe from scrutiny. President Prabowo revealed that the government would utilize modern technology to track hidden assets resulting from corruption. "Now we have technology, we have radar that we can use. We can see underground. So, those of you who have hidden bunkers, we will find your wealth," Prabowo said, to applause from the audience. He explained that defense technology, currently used to detect underground facilities, such as weapons depots, can also be used to support law enforcement in tracing assets obtained from criminal activity. Furthermore, Prabowo said the government would utilize satellite imagery to monitor various activities that could potentially harm the state, including misuse of land and assets. He stated that no individual should tarnish the reputation of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) by providing protection to perpetrators of irregularities. "Don't denigrate the TNI and Polri. The TNI and Polri are the people's army and police.
