Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche - Basta Ser Consciente

Excerpts from recordings of lectures by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is a writer and a highly respected teacher of the Bon tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Tenzin Rinpoche was born in Amritsar, India, shortly after his parents fled Tibet in 1959 due to Chinese occupation. At the age of 10, Tenzin was ordained as a monk at Menri Monastery, India, where he was recognized by Head Teacher Lopon Sangye Tenzin Rinpoche as the reincarnation of Master Khyung Tul Rinpoche, a renowned meditation master who died in the mid-20th century. In 1988, Tenzin was invited by Dzogchen Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche to teach in Italy, which brought him additional opportunities to teach in other locations throughout Western Europe, becoming one of the first to bring the Bon teachings to the West. Tenzin Rinpoche is known for the depth of his wisdom; his engaging, clear teaching style; and his ability to make the ancient Tibetan teachings highly accessible and relevant to Westerners. Today, Tenzin continues to transmit his teachings, preserving his tradition through the establishment of centers and groups around the world, translating and publishing texts, and teaching Bon continuously to Western students worldwide. 🙏 Purchase Tibetan Buddhism books through our Amazon link: https://amzn.to/4h3ZImu 📚 See our list of recommendations: https://www.amazon.com.br/shop/corvoseco “Simply be aware of your need for control. This need is your pain identity. Be aware of your need for control, a need that is producing pain, conflict, and blocks in the flow of creative action. You may try to control this feeling, try to command it, and make the same mistake again. Don't do that. Don't try to control your feelings or thoughts. Just be aware of them. This is a non-conceptual way of observing. Be silent. Be open.” Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche "In the Dzogchen approach, when you feel any form of disturbance, you take time to look within yourself, looking at whoever feels discomfort. If you look more and more at the noise, like moving from a zoom lens to a microscope, it becomes larger and larger. But when you look more at yourself, it becomes smaller and smaller. This is one way people can manage pain; the principle is based on this—observing being with the observer." Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche. “We must be able to be aware of who we are. Of course, it's not that easy; then again, it's not very difficult either. It's always a matter of being ready, mature, and matured. When you're ready, mature, and matured, nothing can stop you. But when you're not, it's very difficult. The sun is shining impartially in all directions, but the cave that faces south doesn't receive sunlight. This is not because the sun is biased or chooses not to shine, but because the cave is facing the wrong direction.” Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche.
