The saxophone mouthpiece can be a powerful tool for developing your voicing, pitch control, flexibility and tone. In this video, you will find an explanation for why working with the mouthpiece is important, an introductory demonstration on how to use it, perspectives on "tuning" your mouthpiece to a specific pitch, classical versus jazz mouthpiece tuning, and several exercises ranging from elementary to advanced.
