Whip the eggs, sugar, and salt for 8–10 minutes until the mixture becomes very pale, thick, and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract. Sift the flour and gently fold it into the batter in 2–3 batches. Pour the batter into a 24 cm (9.5 inch) cake pan lined with parchment paper on the bottom. Bake for approximately 30–35 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack and allow it to cool completely.
