Part 1 | GOLD COAST TO TASMANIA – Van Life, Choppers & Tassie Roads

This trip was meant to be on two wheels… but this time we hit the road in the van instead of the Harley. And honestly? No regrets. Part one of our adventure takes us from the Gold Coast down to the legendary Newy Choppin Show in Newcastle, before cruising the coast through Ulladulla, Malacoota and Torquay. From there it was time to roll onto the Spirit of Tasmania and cross Bass Strait to Devonport. Once in Tassie, we wasted no time. We headed straight to Richardson’s Harley-Davidson in Prospect, hired a Road Glide, and ripped out a proper day ride to St Helens and back — Tassie roads doing what Tassie roads do best. From there it was back to van life, free camping our way through Scottsdale, Bay of Fires, and Mayfield Beach We also stopped in Bridport to check out an epic collection of classic motorcycles at The Loft, hosted by the man himself — Tank. Absolute gold. This is just the beginning. Part 2 only gets better as we continue our van tour around Tasmania, deeper into the island, more roads, more stories, and more surprises.
