Five years earlier, I'd already written a three-and-a-half-page Google document explaining exactly how unsafe, alone, and overwhelmed I felt in my marriage. I’d shared that document with my ex, we'd discussed it, there were comments!! Reading that document reminded me that I'd already spent years trying to save our relationship, yet I’d let him convince me that I hadn’t even tried! This video is about the moment I stopped trusting his version of our relationship, and started truly trusting my own. 🫶 Subscribe to ‪@HealingbytheNumbers‬ to follow the rest of Don't Go Back, my story of what happened after I escaped an abusive marriage and the unexpected challenges that came with it. #ThatwasAbuse #AbuseRecovery #EmotionalAbuse #DomesticViolence #DontGoBack
