Star Trek the next generations, dieci cose che magari non sai

It was an incredible success, but the production wasn't without its problems. Gene Roddenberry had been unable to keep costs under control, which had ballooned beyond the safe threshold set by Paramount. And delays in production had piled up so much that the final cut was completed only two days before the December 1979 premiere, resulting in a highly enjoyable film, but not without its problems (given the extremely tight editing schedule). The result was that when Roddenberry proposed a script for the second film (which he wanted to produce), Paramount said both "thank you" and "no." And they gave the job to Harve Bennett, the legendary producer of The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. The latter obviously did an exceptional job pulling that little gem, The Wrath of Khan, out of the hat. And Roddenberry?
