Trainspotting at Koedoespoort
While I was out train spotting at Koedoespoort station, an all blue set of 18E locomotives passed by coming from Transnet's Capital Park depot. I had guessed that these particular locomotives were heading to Waltoo to pick up a load of car carrier wagons with Ford Rangers heading to the port for export. I had seen the car carrier wagons being shunted at Watloo while on my way to to Koedoespoort so I knew a car train would be coming my way sooner or later I just had to be patient. Glad to say my guess was correct although I had to wait for quite a while. While waiting I spotted other locomotives as well. All clips shot on 20 February 2020
