In this episode, I test which NVIDIA Detonator driver is the fastest under Windows 98. I prepared 15 benchmarks on two popular cards from the era: GeForce2 Ti and GeForce4 MX460. I ran the tests on a Pentium III Tualatin 1266 MHz platform to best reflect the retro gaming experience from the turn of 1999–2002. In this video, you'll see a comparison of Detonator drivers from version 6.50 to 56.64, as well as performance differences in DirectX and OpenGL games.
