When we feel anxious, the nervous system is often in a sympathetic activation state — the body’s fight-or-flight response — which creates excess energy in the system. Rather than trying to suppress this energy or force the body to relax, this practice invites you to gently meet and move that activation through the body using titrated shaking, natural movement, and breath awareness.
