The Trust Fund for Victims provides victims within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court with physical, psychosocial and material support. This video, produced in collaboration with Africa Interactive, shows how victims in Uganda and the Democratic Republic Congo have been affected by the most serious crimes, such as forcing children to become soldiers and using rape and sexual violence as a weapon of war. The Trust Fund for Victims, as an unprecedented international mechanism for reparative justice, assists victims in regaining their dignity and in rebuilding their lives."
