Under the concept “Peru, the taste of an extraordinary journey,” Peru successfully concluded its participation as Host Country at the 2026 edition of Identità Golose, one of the world’s most important gastronomic congresses, held from June 7 to 9 in Milan, reported PromPerú. With the aim of reinforcing the country’s position as a world-class gastronomic destination, Peru’s participation highlighted the close relationship between gastronomy, culture, and tourism, generating new promotional opportunities in the European market. For three days, Peru transformed its flavors into a powerful tourism showcase in Europe. Renowned figures such as Mitsuharu “Micha” Tsumura and Virgilio Martínez endorsed the national presence at one of the world’s most important gastronomic congresses.
