The restaurant we photographed this time was "Kagono Shokudo" in Yotsukaido City, Chiba Prefecture. This restaurant is a hot spot for large portions, and its signature dish, "Chokatsu-don (super katsu-don)," is very popular. The restaurant also offers a wide variety of other hearty dishes such as karaage and chashu set meals. The restaurant is so full that hungry customers line up even before it opens. The manager says that even this is a slightly reduced portion, but to say the least, it was substandard in size. I had the super katsu-don, which was heated slowly at a low temperature, and the crispy texture of the katsu-don and the delicious flavor of the meat made it the most delicious.
