Op de Noordzee en langs Maasmond - mei 2020 - Sailing Eva [016]

Following our departure on May 18, 2020, we sailed in Zeeland for a few weeks. Now, at the end of May, it is time to head north. We sail through the lock at Stellendam (where we came in from the sea in the fog this winter, see episode 12). Then 'turn right' to the north. At Rotterdam have to cross the Maasmond, the fairway out off port. Always a little exciting. See how we call traffic control by VHF and are allowed to continue sailing, but then are called to slow down. A large cargo vessel is departing the port of Rotterdam... We are Ben and Felia. For years and years on end we dreamed about sailing around the world together. We started our great adventure in may 2020. With our Atlantic 43, named Eva, we go wherever the wind will take us.
