United States Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz accused China of playing a role in the escalation of the conflict between the US and Iran. According to Al-Jazeera, in his speech at the UN Security Council, Waltz accused China of not fully implementing the goal of stopping the flow of dual-use goods to Iran and the Houthis in Yemen. "Iran and the Houthis, which, of course, have civilian uses, have also been used to threaten our partners, civilian aircraft, and commercial shipping," he said.
