Goodford Model Railway MK5 - 8. Running Session 2

This mega running session includes a brief clip of all rolling stock on Goodford model railway. I was not able to include all locos however all different train types feature. I spent the last few months sorting through unused stock and locos and this is the result. Many of them have now been weathered by me, which is a hurdle i have been too scared to jump over for many years. There is still a lot more to do, including weathering most of the locos. For anyone not familiar with the layout, it is around 20 foot by 12 foot and features 4 running lines with a mainline junction at the throat of a city station. Most of the scenic area is raised and boxed in with retaining walls, this allows for most of the layout to be captured on camera without a baseboard in site. The fiddle yard is capable of holding around 25 trains of various lengths so there was a bit of swapping throughout this running session. Set in the year 2020 and loosely covering the South West of the UK, most of the possible stock combinations are now ready to run on the layout, this relatively strict window helps to limit the stock purchased for the layout and allows more time for detailing the stock, setting it up to run smoothly and sound as i prefer and of course, allows time to build the layout to run it on. The whole layout is powered by DCC using the Z21 system. Some of the layout is semi-automated with the use of ABC braking sections, including the DMU shuttle which can be seen along the back of the layout, as well as the inner 2 lines which enables multiple train movements to happen whilst i am concentrating on running a single train. All locos (except dummies) are DCC sound fitted, with over 95% of them being ESU Loksound V5. Most sounds are either Legomanbiffo or SWD, with the profiles having been slightly tweaked and megabass speakers fitted.
