The world is in an ecological and climate crisis. Yet whilst the nature and conservation sector continue to fight fires with the little resources they have, we are still losing species at an unprecedented rate. Why? It starts with a lack of systems thinking, a history rooted in colonialism, and a pandering to late-stage capitalism, and ends with our general continued disconnect from nature.
