Top Gear returns after a 2 month absence for a weekly dose of motoring on television. This week, Jason Barlow drives the highly-anticipated rival to the Ford Mondeo, the Renault Laguna II. Tiff Needell gets an opportunity to drive the Lamborghini Miura and Adrian Simpson delves into the pleasures and pitfalls of buying second hand Audis and Mercs. Production code: NBHM199J Top Gear Fun Fact: This may not have been said loudly in media, but Top Gear's series 45 was projected to aim at the 40-50 year old target audience range, which reflected on the items being more carefully placed to be more into consumer advice and reporting on cars, rather than trying something of their own - those segments that had "something of their own", like the Lamborghini Miura retrospective, were series 44 remnants.
